Carbon Poker Bad Beat Jackpot Rules
There are requirements and hand qualifications that must be met in order to win the bad beat jackpot at Carbon Poker. The person that loses the hand (the bad beat jackpot winner) must have a hand that contains quad 7’s (four 7’s) or better. The person that wins the hand must naturally contain quad 8’s or better. When the hand is dealt, there must be four or more players at the table that are dealt in. The 50 cents that is taken from every hand for the jackpot must be accumulated or the hand does not qualify.
The loser and winner of the bad beat hand must use both of their hole cards. In addition, quads require a pocket pair. For example, QQ versus AK with a board of Q-Q-K-K-K does not qualify. Despite the fact that the quad K’s hand is using the A as the fifth card (kicker) and this is a severe bad beat, the hand does not qualify. This shouldn’t be that discouraging though because the bad beat jackpot is won anywhere up to ten times a month. One player has even gone as far as to win it twice in a just over a month’s time. The final requirement is that the hand must be fully played out by at least two players. In other words, the hand has to result in a showdown.
